Living away from our home town is both a blessing and a curse. We are in a beautiful city, my husband has the perfect job and the kids are surrounded by opportunity. However, sometimes it gets a little lonely and seeing family has become really hard. The weekends are just 2 days and often they are full with all the other adult tasks we need to do and traveling home over the past 4 years has gotten less and less.

Other family members kids are at school now, and although our girls are home educated, it means that really we need to stick to half term or weekends to actually see them. The solution around this for us is always a group family holiday. In April we headed off as a group of 15 to Butlins and in September we are heading off to Disneyland Paris as a group of 10.



There is something so magical about going on holiday as a group.
