Easter Hunt with Zuro Dino Smashers Review #Ad
Easter is so much fun for kids, running around doing hunts and finding all those wonderful eggs! But what about if you don't want to give chocolate? Whether you have allergies in the family or you really just want something different, Zuru Dino Smashers are egg shaped and tones of fun (again and again!).
My girls are obsessed with dinosaurs, the films, the teddies and of course toys. So when Zuru sent us a package containing their Dino Smashers eggs, including the new Smash Rex Playset, Kairi and Naminé were desperate to get stuck in! So I 'spoke' to their Dinosaur teddies and helped them to set up an exciting easter egg hunt around the house.
Inside the washing machine, under the bed and behind the computer, the girls used the cardboard dinosaur egg clues to find out just where their next toy would be! After having oodles of fun collecting them all, they got straight to opening their eggs and SMASHING them!
Smashers eggs are made to 'Throw ' 'Smash' and then 'Surprise' so the girls had plenty of fun throwing them, stepping on them and crushing them with their hands, each time screaming at what new surprise came out. Each egg contains a collectable toy and we even had one with a 'fossil' in it which added a whole other layer of fun!

The Smash Rex Playset was by far the most exciting part of the hunt, once we had unboxed Rex (who comes with an egg rebuilder - which I'l tell you about in a second, a smasher, smash egg and collectors guide) we got straight to helping him eat the eggs. In popped an egg and with a push of the button on his back he was making toilet noises and dropping a smashed egg and the suprise out of his tail end! The girls loved to watch him drop the egg and would laugh nearly every time!
The best thing about Smashers for me as mum? Well you can put them back together! Each egg can be put back together with the surprise inside. Now while I couldn't quite do this myself, with the help of the egg rebuilder nest that came with the Smash Rex Playset, I quickly learnt how to create eggs in less than 20 seconds, which meant the girls could have plenty of fun smashing them over and over again. Which they did! They decided to see if they could smash them faster than I could create them!
As a family we had so much fun smashing and rebuilding eggs as well as playing with Rex and the collectable figures too. Check out the video below of the hunt and us smashing all out eggs open!
