Zimpli Kids Play Review

As we get into those last few weeks before Christmas, I find myself struggling to find play ideas for the girls that won't leave me with hours more mess to tidy up on top of all the jobs I have right now. So when Zimpli Kids offered to send up some messy play that cleans up easy, I of course jumped at the chance!

SnoBall

As a mum of a 3 year old and 5 year old, I love to set up fun and exciting play activities for the girls. I love them to be able to explore, play, make a mess and learn about the world around them. But I hate the clean up! I want an activity to be very easy clean up when it's over and this is where my 'fun mum' downfall begins.

SnoBall

Luckily for me, Gelli Baff, Slime Baff and SnoBall Play are all really easy to clean up and provide plenty of exciting exploratory fun beforehand. It's the play of parents dreams! Each kit comes with it's own packet containing the play product and a leaflet that telling you how to easily clean up/dispose of the product.

So we got straight into the fun, adding a packet of SnoBall and 1.2l of water into a bowl, I started mixing. 3 minuites later and we had snow! I have to be honest, as I was mixing, I was sure it wasn't going to work but sure enough snow appeared before my eyes (and I may ahve had a bit of fun making it too!). I then grabbed some plastic toys and set up a nice Christmas scene.

SnoBall play is made for kids to make snowballs and have a SnoBall fight, but if you know Naminé, you'd know that would only end in tears, so the Christmas snow scene was perfect for her.

I called the girls in, they were so excited. Naminé said, 'Real snow for us?' and let out the biggest grin! They both got stuck straight in, with Kairi making snowballs and Naminé attempting to bury one of the figures to make a snow angel.

The great thing about SnoBall play is that it's non-toxic, which meant that once the girls were stuck in, I could leave them to it and get some wrapping done in peace! Win-Win!

Cleaning up was easy. SnoBall play is biodegradable, so we could chose to leave it to disappear or add water to it to make the process quicker.

The girls also had lots of fun playing with Slime Baff, it's worth a note that it's a bit of a longer set up time and the bath does get very slippery, so make sure your bath doesn't tilt as much as ours does! We can't wait to set the tuff tray up as a dinosaur adventure with Gelli Baff too.
