Christmas is coming and this year we want to focus on Kairi’s current interests and her home education. She’s 5 years old this year and really starting to know what she wants! I recently wrote my 4-year old Christmas gift guide but as a quick recap, last Christmas on her list was lego, bath bombs and Alexa! Don’t forget to check out the end of the post where I am holding an awesome Playfoam® Pals™ Snowy Friends Giveaway!

What to buy a 5-year old for Christmas

Melissa and Doug Magic Set

Kairi saw a couple of magicians this year while we were away and loved them! So we decided to get her this Melissa & Doug magic set. Some of the tricks might be a little advanced for her, but Melissa and Doug are such a good brand that I know the set will last.new-fairy-garden

My Fairy Garden

Kairi believes in fairies so much and enjoys creating things like fairy doors for them. So this magical indoor fairy garden is the perfect gift for her. I can’t wait to see what she creates with it!

I have an affiliate link discount code you can use ‘MUMWAIT218’ for 10% off just head to https://www.what2buy4kids.co.uk/shop/my-fairy-garden/

Snowy Playfoam Pals

Playfoam® Pals™ Snowy Friends

We got Playfoam Pals earlier in the year and the girls loved them. This year we have some Playfoam® Pals™ Snowy Friends which will be the perfect stocking fillers (if I can hold off that long!) Each snowball includes a mini winter pal and a ball of coloured Playfoam to play with. It will keep the kids occupied for hours! (I’ve got 2 sets to give away at the end of this post!)

My Little Pony

Kairi asked for this My Little Pony and if I’m honest, as I hit pay, the words ‘you’ll regret this’ jumped out of the screen! Rainbow Dash allow you to sing through the microphone, which of course means plenty of noise to come!

Paint a Petal Fairy Tea Set

Kairi loves to do art and craft, so this year I wanted to get her a little something she could keep and enjoy. This petal fairy tea set is the perfect choice!

Barbie Pet Care

As much as we avoid ‘girly’ and ‘pink’, the internet has told Kairi to love barbie, so this year she has asked for Barbie Pet Care, we’ve also grabbed her a zip bin to store her new Barbie bits in too.

Mini Gotrovo Treasure Hunt Game

What is more fun that a treasure hunt?! This kit is perfect for the active 5 year old. The clues are simple and but fun, I can’t wait to run around play this with her.

Popin’ Cookin

If your little one is interested in cooking, then popin’ cookin is the perfect set for them, simple with a fun result!

Win Playfoam® Pals™ Snowy Friends!

Playfoam Pals are for Children 5+ (however my 3 year old loves to play with them when supervised) You can get hold of two 2-packs using the gleam entry below!
