Can you believe it, Kairi has turned 5! We’ve just thrown her 5th Birthday party and what a fantastic one it was.

This year for her birthday, Kairi couldn’t decide what theme to stick to, tea party, unicorn, pink, rainbow… we pretty much went through every theme we could think of. Then we found Personalised Parties. Looking at their site we saw the cutest personalised party wear and once we spotted the amazing unicorns, I knew we had finally found the perfect theme. I contacted personalised to see if they would be willing to work with us and they said yes *Kairi may have done a happy dance or 2!*

So onto the website we went and found the set that Kairi loved, the ordering process was so easy and after lots of chatting with daddy, we decided to personalise them with ‘Happy Birthday Kairi’. The limit is 21 characters, so we could have gone for a few things.

We received 3 sets of the unicorns. Which consists of plates, cups, 2 types of cupcake flags, party boxes, hats and masks. The sets were very well packaged and each of the small items like toothpicks and elastic, were popped in small bags so they didn’t end up a mess – fab packaging! Each set is for 8 people and is £29.99, for our party we needed 3 sets.

The day before the party, I took the hats, masks, boxes and cupcake flags out of the packaging, each one needed to be put together. As we had some cancelations, I only needed to make up 15 sets, but it really did take a while. Each of the mats and masks needed to have the elastic thread and tied and the boxes needed to be folded in to shape, finally each cupcake flag needed to put onto a toothpick.

As we had some spare, myself and the girls took a set each out for a picnic at the park. I love how the boxes made fantastic lunch boxes and the whole set just looked the cutest! During the party, we used the boxes as ‘party bags’ filling them with cupcakes (including the flag), toys and treats. The quality of the whole set was fantastic, you could really tell they were made with love.

If you are looking for party wear that will real make you stand out, head over to Personalised Parties and check their fantastic ranges.
