Last year we had a holiday travel journey from hell! We were provided kids seats with our transfer that were dirty and honesty dangerous – 1 of the kids seats didn’t even turn up! This year I wasn’t going to go through that again, but as a non-driver, what was the answer?
I searched the internet looking for something that I was sure just wouldn’t exist. I wanted a seat that was compact for traveling but also would keep my girls safe. So did I find the answer? Of course I did! Enter Bubble Bum, the portable, inflatable Car Booster Seat thats designed to fit into your busy family life.
So I contacted Bubble Bum asking if they would be happy to work with me and within 24 hours, they sent us out 2 pink seats (pink because of course thats what the girls choose!)
Bubble Bum is available in 5 styles; Pink, Black, Irish Shamrocks, Union Jack and Stars and Stripes. So there really is something suitable for everyone and is approved under the EU ECE regulation R44/04 for safety for Groups 2 and 3 and US federal safety requirements FMVSS213. Sounds perfect, right?!
The Bubble Bum in Action
As we left the house for this trip, we popped our Bubble Bums into the girls backpacks, – Bonus points for weighing the same as 3 small bananas so mum doesn’t have to carry them! They just stayed there until we needed them.
Once we landed in Spain and hopped onto the coach, we took them out of our bags and with 3 big puffs, they were ready for action. The girls hopped on and we had a safe journey to the hotel (and back to the airport later). Once we were off the coach it took less than 30 seconds to deflate them and pop them away in their back for the next time.
So why will I never travel with out this portable, inflatable, safe, booster for every kid holiday we go on? Because Bubble Bum is amazing! Whether we are off abroad or on a day out in the UK in my best friends car, I know we will always have a foldable, compact, portable booster seat in our backpacks to keep the girls safe on their adventures!
