So you’ve decided to book Disneyland Paris for a Birthday, but you’re looking for something extra special to do. Here are 7 ways to celebrate a birthday at Disneyland Paris.
1. Birthday Badge
Head to city hall to grab a free birthday badge. The cast members will write your name on it and wish you a happy birthday.
2. Phone Call from Mickey
While you’re in City Hall, why not as if there is a phone call for you from Mickey Mouse. He might have some lovely birthday wishes to say.
3. Birthday Cake
Once you know where you are eating for your stay, why not book a birthday cake. With meringue, Ice-cream or sponge to choose from, there is plenty of flavour to go round. Plus if you’re at a character meal, the characters will come over to your table while everyone sings happy birthday.
4. Princess for a day
If you child is desperate to be a princess, then princess for the day is a great birthday treat. Pick a package and a dress and get pampered then spend the rest of the day with everyone calling you princess. If you want to go a step further you can book princess dining too.
5. Character Dining
Breakfast or Dinner with Mickey or Minnie is sure to bring lots of smiles!
6. Private Meet
Disneyland Paris do have special private meets. You can email DLP for the full details, but beware, the packages are very expensive.
7. In-room Celebration Package

I think I usually do a few of them lol!
I’m taking my little boy in May and it will be his 2nd birthday while we are there.
I want to make it special so I called ahead to book a table at Inventions, but the lady I spoke to on the phone was rather rude and told me they won’t do anything for my little ones birthday… and you only get a cake if you are with a party of more than 6 people!
I only wanted her to make a note of it upon my reservation, but she was very blunt with me. Very disappointing and we’ve not even left yet!!

You can’t prebook character meets, you’ll just need to get into the queue on the day.
