Autumn is on its way and the living room has been starting to look like it needed a boost. Our house has been both very well used and very much neglected during the summer and looking round, I decided it was time for a change.

As I mentioned during the summer, we had been creating a home education area for the girls, we also purchased ourselves some new furniture too, but something was missing. We decided we really needed a new pair of curtains and after what felt like weeks of looking around, we finally found the perfect pair over at JD Williams.

The Order Process

Having never purchased curtains before, I had no idea what width, drop or style would suit my needs. Luckily on the JD Williams Site, there is a buying guide which helped me to find out the perfect drop for my window.

Delivery with fast with my ordering arriving right on time too.

The Product

The curtains we chose where the Glitz Sequin Border Lined Eyelet Curtains in Black. They came very nicely packaged and were easy to put straight up with no ironing. (Which is always a major plus in this family!)

Once they were up the room looked completely different. I hadn't been sure on the sparkles before as we have no others in our house, but I feel they really give the room the 'POP' it needs.

The Final Look

I feel the curtains have completely transformed our room and made it look more homely and 'hip'.

Final Touches

I am hoping to pop into Wilko this week to get some storage baskets for the shelves, I love these Willow Storage Baskets. I would also love to get a set of these Table Lamps from Argos or this Floor Lamp from HarryCorry.
