When Splash About contacted us to see if we would like to try their new Happy Nappy, we jumped at the chance. As a family that loves to be away and travels light, I knew the Happy Nappy would be a fantastic product for us.

The new Happy Nappy comes in 11 different styles, so there is something perfect for everyone. As much as I wanted to choose the beautiful Nina’s Ark, we let Naminé make her own decision as she was the one that would be wearing it. So I pulled the site up with the designs and she proudly claimed that she would like a ‘orange shark’.

The brand new improved Happy Nappy is the most reliable, reusable swim nappy of today. It is fully tested and approved by UK swim schools and recommended by the British Standard guidelines for baby swimming. The Happy Nappy offers maximum protection against leaks of poo in the pool, all due to its ergonomic design.

The Happy Nappy has unique molded back panels, secured with an innovative fitted gusset, the increased elasticity creates a secure but comfortable seal to prevent gaping regardless of how hard your little one kicks in the water.

The new Happy Nappy is ideal for holidays and summer days at the beach. It has UPF50+ sun protection and my favorite part is that because it is effective worn alone, there is no need to pack disposables! (Aftercare is so simple too)

So with lovely weather this weekend, we decided to take a day trip to the Dinosaur Adventure Park and venture into their splash zone. Naminé was so excited to try out her new Happy Nappy. (As you can see in the photos!)

The first thing I have to mention was how EASY it was to use! As someone who has tried out reusable swim nappies before, and then given up because they are almost impossible to get on, I was very impressed. The Happy Nappy wasn’t tight and slipped on easy but you could definitely tell that it was secure and no poo would escape!

If you use a swim school that insists on a double layer of protection, Splash About has a solution for that too. Although the Happy Nappy works effectively on its one, a machine washable Nappy Wrap and disposable liners that are worn underneath the Happy Nappy can also be purchased.

As we had the liners and wrap, we decided to give them a go too. I love how easy it is to clean poo out of the nappy (You just simply lift and dispose of the liner including the poo). The Happy Nappy can just be rinsed and rolled in a towel as it’s quick drying and you can machine was the wrap if needed. So simple for holiday!

Overall the whole system was so easy, the nappy is so pretty and I would honestly use the Happy Nappy over disposables or other reusable nappies any day. Naminé is so impressed with her new nappy and we can’t wait until our next swimming session!
