We all want to be a super mum, but when having a baby, you need support... NEVER TURN IT DOWN!

My husband, mother and sister have been great support forme, they're always there when I need a chat, they brought me food and drink in those early days and my husband will help with. Whatever he can.

In those early days however, I needed a support worker. I popped down to my local breastfeeding cafe and finally got the help I needed, I could feed without pain. I will never forget that lady who helped me, it was because of her I get to every major stage, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years etc.

So I decided that I wanted to help others.  I wanted to make a difference to woman like myself so I took my peer supported training and now I can help. I've helped many friends and strangers alike so far and it's such a sense of achievement.

This one lady caused an ongoing affect, by helping me she helped me to go on to help others so rather than 1 person, she's probably helped 100. She is a breastfeeding angel and that's what hope to be too.

What about you? Have you helped anyone or do you have someone special who's helped you?
